Looking up items via autocomplete

Items can be saved as reusable items in ‘Templates & Items’.

When editing a quote you can autocomplete these pre-saved template items by typing the start of the item name (product or service heading) or the item code. This should give you a drop-down list of results, select one, and have it populate your quote.

If you wish to search by words in the item name, you'll just need to know what it starts with, then you can search by other words in the item name.

For example, let’s say you have several items starting with the word ‘Microsoft…’. But you want to lookup the item called ‘Microsoft Office 365 Home’.

You would do the following:

  1. Type the letter ‘M
  2. Hit [Space]
  3. Type the letter ‘H

This should narrow down your results to include the item ‘Microsoft Office 365 Home’.

The above also applies to items being looked up from Xero or QuickBooks Online.
